The 43-year-old Stephen Munoz Espinoza was having a bad day and was hoping for some good fortune, but just as it appeared like there was one more obstacle, everything started to go in his favour.
Munoz Espinoza stopped at the Delray Beach Publix on Northeast Fifth Avenue to finish his day. Someone made the decision to grab their lottery tickets first, preventing him from buying his and moving on.
The Lottery was told by Munoz Espinoza. "A man cut in front of me when I stopped at Publix to purchase a ticket at the machine. I made the decision to just purchase a ticket at the counter as opposed to speaking."
The citizen of Delray Beach walked over to the ticket booth and selected a ticket from the $50 "500X The Cash" scratch-off game, which went on sale in February 2022 and has a top prize of $25 million.
It was a wise move to move over to the counter and get rid of the machine. Munoz Espinoza left the trade with one of the $1 million prizes from the game.
The lucky person exclaimed, "I can't believe I got a million dollars!
